Color Full Existence

Just lying here thinking
About a color line
Looking at this body
And the skin of mine

I can tell you this
Is not in my sight
No where, in my being
The color of white

When I look at people
Called black or white
It is the hues of a rainbow
Which comes into my sight

A deep rich chocolate brown
Or a golden light tan
Is a beautiful covering
For a woman or man

While many speak visual
Calling some people white
This color only brings
A ghost in my sight

Never, should any person
Be equated by a color of the skin
Because the value of anyone
Is found deep within

Beyond the aspect
Of a taught society line
Lives the true beauty
Both yours and mine.
